They’ll be convinced by trusted voices, plain language, and first steps that feel safe and simple. Everything we do starts with listening to the average person, then centering our messaging on what actually helps them understand and use Bitcoin.

We ran a national research program, two large-scale surveys and in-person focus groups across the country, to understand how the average person really sees Bitcoin: who is open to it, what holds them back, and whose voice they trust. Alli Shaw
Founder and President of Neighborhood Bitcoin
Alli Shaw believes in the inherent value of human beings and in understanding and investing in systems that reflect that value. She holds a B.A. in History from Belhaven University and has devoted the last two years to studying monetary systems (with a special focus on Bitcoin), how people interact with them, and what kinds of information and tools would be beneficial to them in the digital age.
Neighborhood Bitcoin is the culmination not only of a national research initiative but also of years’ worth of conversations at Rotary Clubs, Book Festivals, coffee shops, and discussions anywhere people gather to understand things in community.
